Independent living is the provisioning of economical, available and safe lodging to active older individuals, who are totally independent, with or without assistive gadgets and who do not require support concerning their activities of day-to-day living.
Both Independent and Assisted living centres are run by signed up NPO’s and moneyed by the Department of Social Development.
Frail care centre (aging houses)
Older individuals in need of 24-hour care due to their psychological and physical condition can get care and services at a frail care centre.
Older individual’s week Service centres for older individuals
Service Centres for Older Persons are run by signed up NPO’s and offer community-based care and assistance services for older individuals. Service centres supply older individuals with the chance to participate in a variety of services and activities such as workout, leisure activities, spiritual and cultural activities, awareness projects, academic and abilities activities along with lunches.
